After quite a few rumours about zero-bezel smartphone, Pantech has today announced its latest Android phone – Vega Iron with a 5-inch 720p almost zero-bezel display. The company however dubs it as zero-bezel, but it is 2.5mm wide, which according to Engadget, is half of what you will find on iPhone 5.

Smart Video eye recognition, Dual-camera and more demoed

LG has demoed the earlier announced value pack update for its Optimus G Pro smartphone. The update, which will soon be released for this Galaxy Note II competitor from LG, will bring features like Smart Video eye recognition, Dual-camera and more.

The Korean manufacturer has now released a video showcasing these features. Company mainly highlights three features of the value pack update in this video – Video Pause/Resume, Dual Camera function and Smart Video. Check out the video below.

The APK of the latest Google play store version has already appeared online and can be installed on your Android device.

Our impressions:
During our brief usage of the app, it felt snappier than ever. The new layout looks really nice, but if it help in app/ content discovery remain to be seen. Google is using bigger images and Google Now like cards layout in the entire Play Store. We will add more impressions in another post.

We got a peek at the upcoming Play Store 4.0 update a while back when the APK for the application got leaked out. Back then, however, while category and content pages were viewable, the home page for the app was unavailable.

The Samsung Galaxy S 4 official availability might still be a month away but if you want to get your hands on some of the Galaxy S 4 goodies now – you are in luck. Folks at SamMobile got their hands on a leaked system image of Galaxy S 4 and have extracted stuff like wallpapers and ringtones for public sharing.

They have also taken the out the APK for S-Voice version coming in S 4 for mass consumption. S- Voice latest version seems to be working fine on Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S III, while it had some issues with AOSP based firmwares.

The site has also published the full system dump from which they have taken out the wallpapers and stuff. You can download it right now for your tinkering and extracting any cool stuff that you can find.

Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 update for Galaxy Note users in the country. The update is available via Kies app. We have got multiple confirmations that it is a broad roll-out, so connect your Note to PC or Mac right now and open Kies to update the device.
There is no official change-log available right now, but the update should bring Project Butter improvements, Google Now, new customizable notification area, Multi-View, Smart Rotation, Page Buddy, enhanced keyboard input, updated gallery app, and improved Pop-up Play.
